Vice President of Equine Affairs/Head Trainer
Brittany Malinoski has spent 15 plus years teaching, training and showing in both English and Western disciplines. The majority of her training and expertise were acquired under Virginia “Wick” Bachmann, the daughter of FEI “O” status Olympic judge Colonel Donald Thackeray. Wick helped hone Brittany’s skills in reining, western pleasure, hunt seat, cross country, breeding, and high end equine sales. Brittany expanded her skills at Delaware Valley College in Doylestown, PA on the IHSA Stock Horse and Hunt Seat teams, competing at the local, state and national level. Director of Equine Assisted Activities & Therapy Program/ Meridian Equine Event Coordinator
Cristin graduated with a Masters from MTSU in 2008 with a study focus centered around child development, horse science, and recreational therapy. Her passion is in therapeutic riding with more than 15 years experience volunteering and working in the field. She knew from a young age that she wanted to be a therapeutic riding instructor, which led her to MTSU’s horse science and recreation therapy programs. Cristin grew up riding and showing hunters, and discovered a love for western in college. She rode both hunt seat and stock seat for the MTSU Equestrian Team as an undergrad and alumna, and has been involved in the Interscholastic Equestrain Association for almost 10 years. Cristin is a current member of the MTHJA, and has also shown in ranch and stock horse events. She brings her many years of show experience to Meridian as our event manager and coordinator. Lance Stover moved to Middle Tennessee when he was 14 years old, and graduated from Blackman High School. After that he spent 4 years in the Army as a tank mechanic and M88 operator. While in the Army, he married his wife Brooke. They welcomed a beautiful daughter, Kinley, to the world in 2015. Lance was introduced to the horse world through his family, and enjoys trail riding and hunting. He is valuable to the Meridian team as a Project Manager, doing everything from building projects, maintaining the farm, and assisting in daily barn management responsibilities.
Steven Ehrhardt is a native of Middle Tennessee and a graduate of MTSU with Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology & Chemistry. He started riding horses when he met his wife, Aly. They have a one year old son named Colton. He currently serves Meridian Equine as a Project Manager, and is the General Education Director for the Meridian Institute of Surgical Assisting. He enjoys camping and trail riding with his American Quarter Horse, Jep.

Kate received her Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Pennsylvania State University. Kate started riding and training under Virginia “Wick” Bachmann (daughter of FEI “O” status Olympic Judge Colonel Donald Thackeray) in 2000. While riding under Wick, Kate honed her skills in western pleasure, hunt seat, breeding and high-end equine sales. Kate also taught at Blue Valley Riding Center in Pen Argyl, Pennsylvania and expanded her skills even further in hunt seat. For several years, Kate showed in USEF in multiple Hunt Seat divisions at the rated level. She also showed in western horsemanship classes at the local level. Email: Kate.Moreton@MeridianEquine.com

Cassandra graduated from Murray State University in 2014 with her Masters of Science in Agriculture. She received her Bachelors in Agribusiness Economics, with an emphasis in management and marketing. She has ridden horses since a very young age and has competed at several different levels and in multiple disciplines, including reining and horsemanship. She rode on the Murray State Equestrian team for three years, with an additional two years as an alumni rider. During the two years of alumni, she was Reserve National Reining Champion and National Reining Champion. She continues to ride her personal horse, Six Arrows Catalyst, “Catman”.
